The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has confirmed through their Twitter handle that the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) were ready for release.

President Kenyatta during a church service had hinted that the results were ready for release in what appeared to be a slip of the tongue.

The results will be released at 1PM at the Star of the Sea Primary School.

Candidates who sat the exams can access their results by sending an SMS with the ‘Index Number’ to 20076.

The candidates can as well access their results by visiting the KNEC portal later in the day when it will be updated.

This year’s exams began on October 30 and ended on November 1, 2018. A total of 1,060,703 candidates sat the examinations.
